The SATIR thermal vision 256 is a thermal vision headset from SATIR Europe. SATIR have been developing this new platform of thermal imaging due to demand from thermal camera users for a hands-free operation that incorporates wearable technology.
It features a 256x192 IR detector which delivers a good quality image that would be suitable to most applications that require a clear thermal image. It also has a 16MP digital camera which allows for comparison of thermal and digital images.
The headset is suitable for glasses wearers and has a battery life of up to 3-4 hours. It has a wide temperature range of -20°C~+550°C and accuracy of ±2°C or 2% of readings. It also has multiple measurement tools to assist the end-user in analysis.
